Meet the Leadership Team

Ché Frey

Ché Frey has been working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities since the late 90’s and has a drive to help individuals express their desires and personalities through unique and positive approaches. He was born in the Virgin Islands, then made his way to Colorado through competitive cycling and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder. Living in Colorado, Ché discovered the joys of skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking in the Rocky Mountains. Ché is the proud father of three children and he and his wife Caroline founded Our House with a core value of compassionate innovation. When he retires, Ché wants to travel the world and continue sampling different ethnic foods.

Caroline Frey

Caroline Frey joined her husband Chesen Frey in 2008 to open Our House Inc. She moved to Colorado Springs from Pennsylvania in 1996 and worked at the Broadmoor for a few years before doing foster care and eventually becoming a host home provider. She has been married for 17 years and is the mother of three children. Caroline’s expertise is on the financial side of Our House; creating invoices, working with accounts payable and receivable, and payroll. She has a heart for helping others and finds great satisfaction in Our House’s ability to bring quality services to those that need it. Caroline enjoys spending time with her family in the mountains of Colorado, snowboarding in the winter, and enjoying nature in the summer. She hopes to do more traveling in the future and her hobbies include gardening, reading, health, and traveling.

Carol Fischer

Carol is a graduate of Fordham University with a degree in Urban Studies and from UCCS with a Masters in Business Administration. She has lived primarily in Colorado and New York, and six years of living in the Bronx gave her a strong foundation of diversity. In her spare time Carol is a volunteer firefighter and enjoys spending time outdoors. Carol has been working at Our House nearly since inception and has seen the organization evolve over the years. Her own development has been significantly tied to the organization and she brings the approach of innovative persistence in everything she does. Working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities brings new experiences and challenges, and Carol appreciates the uniqueness of each individual as well as the appreciation they have for life’s special moments.

She has a desire for knowledge and aspires to become an inspirational and positive leader in her professional and personal lives.
